Before you fill out the application.....
Please check our list of Representatives to make sure your state/province is covered.
Owners wishing ARPH's assistance in placing their Australian Shepherd should complete the listing form below. After ARPH receives the completed form, it will be sent to the rescue representative who handles your area and who will then follow up with you.
Due to ARPH's limited foster space for dogs needing adoption, we may ask that you keep your dog until we either have foster space for the dog, or we can help you to find that perfect permanent home for your dog. Please plan ahead, as we may not be able to assist if only given a few days' notice.
ARPH is only able to accept purebred Australian Shepherds into the program. Registration papers are not a requirement.
If your dog is a Mini Aussie please contact MARS (Mini Aussie Rescue & Support).
However, we will discuss all the options to assist you with rehoming your dog.
Dogs may be evaluated for temperament before being taken into the program.
ARPH, AT ITS SOLE DISCRETION, RESERVES THE RIGHT TO REFUSE ANY APPLICANT FOR ANY REASON OR NO REASON.
Please answer the following questions to the best of your ability. If the question is not applicable, please put either N/A or that you "don't know". The more information you provide on this questionnaire the better we will be able to assist you.
We rely on the generosity of our supporters to help
the hundreds of Australian Shepherds needing our assistance.
In 1992, three individuals doing private rescue were brought together by a common vision.
They hoped to gain the support of the (ASCA), which would enable them to create a network of volunteers who would be able to save their beloved Aussies on a much larger scale.
For those of you who shop on line, you are able to help raise money for ARPH through your purchases if you go through iGive.
